Interdisciplinary teams participate in a 10-month program for training in Quality Improvement and Patient Safety. This month's topic - Leadership

This is an intensive one day course designed for pediatricians who would like more experience with pediatric emergency scenarios. This course is geared specifically for the pediatrician working in an urgent care setting or emergency department and also for the pediatric hospitalist who may be called upon to respond to an emergency. We will provide hands on training in critical pediatric emergency skills. This will include pediatric specific airway management techniques and pediatric resuscitation procedures. Using high fidelity simulation, this course will also focus on the crisis resource management skills needed to successfully manage a critically ill pediatric patient.

Join us for the annual Hot Topics in Pediatrics conference.  This three-day event will feature national leaders in the field of pediatrics providing evidence-based education and practical solutions for the primary care setting. This conference will be offered in-person at Disney’s Contemporary Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Florida.
