Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity participants will be able to:
- Understand the multidisciplinary needs for patients with Tuberous Sclerosis Complex (TSC), including the roles of neurology, nephrology, cardiology, ophthalmology, genetics, and psychology in comprehensive patient care, and will be familiar with the varied manifestations of the disorder.
- Recognize the unique challenges in management of epilepsy due to TSC.
- Assess existing and emerging treatment options for TSC.
- Describe how genetic testing in TSC can help predict the diagnosis.
