Wilmington, DE US
April 15, 2025

Stephanie Deutsch, MD, MS, MSCR and Allan DeJong MD from the Nemours C.A.R.E Team are today's guest lecturers.

The number of prescription medications used by both adult and pediatric patients continues to increase significantly in the United States. Prescription and illicit drugs can pose a risk for pediatric patients, leading to unintentional and unsupervised exposures. Pediatric patients, specifically toddlers, are also at risk of exposures because of their mouthing behaviors and tendency to mimic adult actions.
