
Certified Pediatric Nurse Review: Care of the Child with a Neurologic Disorder
The activity is designed to help nurses prepare for and pass the Certified Pediatric Nurse exam. The course content is aligned with the Certified Pediatric Nurse exam outline.

Target Audience
Registered Nurses pursuing national certification in pediatric nursing.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity participants will be able to:
- Identify the components of a neurological assessment.
- Discuss common pediatric neurological conditions such as seizures, hydrocephalus and headaches.
- Summarize management for these conditions including medications, surgical procedures, and alternative therapies.
- Verbalize the nurse's role in caring for children with these conditions.
