
2023 Substance Abuse Education for Nurses: EVALI (NCHDE)
Elena Stekolchik, DO, Pulmonology fellow will provide an overview of the impact of vaping, the diagnosis and treatment of EVALI, and discuss vaping cessation resources available.
This activity provides education on substance abuse which can be utilized to meet part of the license renewal requirements.
Target Audience
Registered Nurses and other healthcare professionals.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity participants will be able to:
1. Describe vaping
2. Diagnose and treat EVALI
3. Provide resources to patients and families interested in vaping cessation
