The theme for August 2024 is Understanding and Working with Trauma.

Objectives for this month's sessions:

1.  Discuss adverse childhood events and trauma and apply treatment modalities through trauma-focused cognitive-behavioral therapies.

2.  Identify secondary traumatic stress and cognitive processing therapy by applying theories of self-care for children and teens and their families.
