Janice Cavanaugh, MSN, RN, CPN graduated from the University of Delaware with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.  She received her MSN degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center with a concentration in Nursing Administration and Community Health Care Systems and a Minor in Nursing Informatics. 

Janice started her career in the US Air Force and spent most of her time working in pediatrics while in the Air Force.  Her career has included several years in neonatal nursing as a NICU nurse and newborn nursery nurse as well as inpatient pediatrics.  Her time spent overseas included working for the Department of Defense Dependent Schools as a school nurse. 

Upon returning to the states, she started at Nemours Children’s Health in 2007 as a pediatric hematology/oncology nurse and then transitioned to pediatric cardiology and eventually worked in all specialty areas in Pensacola.  Her current position is Director of Nursing in Pensacola which includes Fort Walton Beach, Bonifay, and Panama City outreach clinics.
