Mary Bratovich Toth, Doctor of Medicine, specializing in Rheumatology and Pediatrics
Mary Toth, MD is Division Chief of Pediatric Rheumatology at Nemours Children’s Hospital Florida and Professor of Pediatrics at University of Central Florida Medical School. Dr. Toth has over 30 years of experience in clinical rheumatology and research. After graduating from Northeast Ohio Universities College of medicine and completing a Med/peds residency at Medical College of Ohio at Toledo, she completed her rheumatology fellowship at the University of Michigan. After graduation she entered private practice where she practiced adult and pediatric rheumatology and was a Med/Peds residency program director. She subsequently established the pediatric rheumatology program at Akron Children's hospital where she became its first Division Director. She continued to be active in medical education, clinical trials and registry research, became Interim Director of Research Institute and elected president of the medical staff. Since joining Nemours in 2017, Dr. Toth has grown the pediatric rheumatology program at Nemours by expanding patient services, establishing lupus clinic with nephrology; promoting medical education at undergraduate and graduate levels ,including serving as site director for the UCF Rheumatology Fellowship; and leading rheumatology research as PI in registries and clinical trials.
