This regularly scheduled series provides nurses the opportunity to attend a didactic session that discusses and analyzes the latest research, interesting cases, and evidence-based practices related to the specialty care of rehab patients.

Objectives: 

1. Identify the types of traumatic brain injury, including their characteristics and causes

2. Describe the acute factors that may affect the prognosis of traumatic brain injury

3. Recognize potential complications that can influence the outcome of a TBI patient and methods to lessen the occurrence of complications
