Objectives
- Define how legal services can address the social determinants of patients' health.
- Discuss how a medical legal partnership can benefit patients and their families.
- Identify indications for family referral to legal aid programs and explain how legal aid attorneys augment the pediatric multidisciplinary care team.
- Describe methods for evaluating health system-community partnerships, using medical-legal partnerships as an example.
- Provide the types of legal cases Nemours patients can be referred to for the CLASI's MLP Program.
- Explain the process by which patients can be referred to the CLASI MLP.
