Abby Nerlinger MD, MPH is a pediatric hospitalist at Nemours Children's Hospital in Wilmington, Delaware and Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Sidney Kimmel Medical College/Thomas Jefferson University.  She also serves as the Program Director for the Pediatric Hospital Medicine Fellowship, the Nemours Site Lead for the Delaware CTR-ACCEL Community Engagement and Outreach Core, and Medical Director of Nemours Delaware Valley Medical-Legal Partnerships.  She completed undergraduate studies at the University of Notre Dame in biology and public policy, medical school at Yale University School of Medicine, pediatrics residency at Children’s Hospital of The King’s Daughters, Pediatric Hospital Medicine Fellowship at Children’s National Hospital, and a Master of Public Health in Health Policy at George Washington University Milken Institute School of Public Health. Dr. Nerlinger has experience in legislative and community advocacy, specifically in the areas of pediatric environmental health and health care finance. Her current research focuses on health system-community partnerships, specifically measuring health and economic outcomes associated with medical-legal partnerships (MLPs).
