This session enhances Emergency Department nursing competence by strengthening bedside practice, trauma/treatment room performance, and clinical decision-making. Emphasis is placed on applying evidence-based knowledge to support purposeful, patient-centered nursing care.

This session will provide education on traumatic emergencies related to burns. Education on this topic will include appropriate interventions and therapies for patients who sustain burn injuries, specific to the Pediatric Emergency Department. Learners will receive hands-on training on through simulated exercises centered around the session's topic.
