This session enhances Emergency Department nursing competence by strengthening bedside practice, trauma/treatment room performance, and clinical decision-making. Emphasis is placed on applying evidence-based knowledge to support purposeful, patient-centered nursing care.
This session will provide education on respiratory related emergencies and appropriate interventions and therapies, specific to the Pediatric Emergency Department. Learners will receive hands-on training on tracheostomy emergency care, as well as the implementation of non-invasive respiratory support.
