Join us on the 3rd Monday of each month, from 12pm-1pm, for our APP Lecture Series. This series features clinical experts in pediatric subspecialty advanced practice roles, including nurse practitioners, clinical nurse specialists, nurse anesthetists, and physician assistants.
 
Each session is designed to enhance the knowledge base of nurses, physician assistants, and other interprofessional team members about pediatric health conditions they may encounter infrequently. Through the use of case studies and patient scenarios, our presenters provide real-world clinical examples and current evidence-based practice recommendations.
 

Target Audience: Nemours nurses, nurse practitioners and physician assistants

Objectives: 
Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to:
  • Recognize a variety of health conditions that may present in your practice.
  • Describe condition specific diagnostics, recommendations and treatment modalities.
  • implement a collaborative approach by fostering interprofessional communication and planning.
  • Distinguish when a patient needs referral to a specialty care provider.
