Objectives
As a result of this activity, participants will be able to:
- Describe risk versus resilience factors that can play a role in the chronic pain experience, especially for adolescents and young adults.
- Evaluate gaps within existing approaches and identify future directions for enhancing resilience and pain-related outcomes in youth with chronic pain.
Practice Change
As a result of this activity, participants will be able to:
- Discuss presenting problems/challenges, inquire about personal strengths and other resilience resources that may promote positive outcomes and improve quality of life for patients and/or their families.
