Session Summary

The NCHFL Supervisor Professional Development Series curriculum is informed by the evidence-based leadership principles and organizational practices developed by the Studer Organization, with a focus on improving team engagement, accountability, and outcomes.

Learning Objectives

At the end of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Describe key principles from the Studer Organization framework that support effective nursing supervision, including accountability, service excellence, and staff engagement.

  • Apply evidence-based leadership tactics (e.g., rounding for outcomes, recognition, and communication strategies) to enhance team performance and patient care in the clinical setting.

  • Identify at least two actionable strategies to improve staff engagement using Studer-based practices.

This series is recommended for RNs in any Supervisor Role
