Dr. Kayla McGrath is a Pediatric Anesthesiologist and Assistant Professor at Nemours Children's Hospital in Orlando, FL, where she has been a member of the Department of Anesthesiology since 2019. She completed her Residency in Anesthesiology at UMASS-Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, MA, followed by a fellowship in Pediatric Anesthesiology at Texas Children's Hospital in Houston, TX. Dr. McGrath is passionate about medical education and plays a key role in training future physicians. She serves as a Pediatric Anesthesia Clerkship Supervisor for medical students, Anesthesia Resident Associate Site Director, and Simulation Instructor. In addition to her educational efforts, she is actively involved in hospital-wide quality improvement and patient safety initiates.  This includes hosting a monthly Anesthesia Quality Improvement and Interesting Case Conference as well as participation in the American College of Surgeons Surgical Improvement and Patient Safety (SPIPS) committee.
