Objectives
As a result of this activity, participants will be able to:

  • Identify any two of the five key elements of trach patient safety according to the Global Tracheostomy Collaborative (GTC).
  • Discuss the measurable impact of the GTC implementation in Year 1 at Nemours Children’s Hospital, Florida.
  • Describe the importance of engaging the families with the campus team to tracheostomy success.
