Amy Fernandez has been with Nemours Children's Hospital, Florida since 2012 holding various positions including: Discharge Planning, Utilization Management and most recently her current position as a Clinical Documentation Integrity Specialist. Prior to Nemours Amy was the Director of Nursing for a Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care center serving medically fragile and technology dependent children. Her Nursing background includes Pediatrics, Home Health, Psych, and Community Nursing. Amy is new to CDI and is looking forward to the growth of this program here at Nemours.
