NCHFL Core Fellowship Curriculum Series 2026

The Core Fellowship Curriculum (CFC) is an interactive simulation program designed for interprofessional fellows. Over two hours, participants engage in simulated scenarios to enhance effective communication with patients, families, and the interprofessional healthcare team. Through immersive experiences, the program equips learners with the skills necessary for collaborative care and patient-centered interactions.

Attend sessions in the Simulation Lab twice a year

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to:

  • Demonstrate interpersonal and communication skills that result in the effective exchange of information and collaboration with patients, their families, and health professionals.
  • Provide patient care that is patient- and family-centered, compassionate, equitable, appropriate, and effective for the treatment of health problems and the promotion of health.
  • Care for patients in an environment that maximizes communication and promotes safe, interprofessional, team-based care in the subspecialty and larger health system
