Trained immunity in chorioamnionitis – what is the effect of oxygen exposure on monocytes and lung epithelial cells after chorioamnionitis? Objectives: a) To investigate the changes in immune function after hyperoxia exposure in human neonatal cord blood monocytes with maternal histopathological chorioamnionitis. b) To investigate the effect of training intervals on lung epithelial cells (Calu-3) after exposure to LPS and hyperoxia in vitro.
