Caroline Hamilton is a certified physician assistant working with the oncology team at Nemours. She graduated from DeSales PA program in 2019 and started her work in internal medicine at St Luke's hospital, before finding her true passion in healthcare in palliative care. She worked outpatient at the Helen F Graham Center at Christiana, working largely with patients with cancer from 2021-2024. She received a Certificate of Added Qualification (CAQ) in palliative medicine and hospice care after working for 2 years within the palliative care specialty. Currently Caroline works within Nemours oncology team, working largely with solid tumor patients and families. Special interests include working with the adolescent/young adult population and symptom management in the cancer population. Caroline is a huge proponent of primary palliative care and that communication is a skill that can be taught!
