Gregory Guldner, MD, MS

Dr. Guldner is the Vice President of Academic Affairs for HCA Healthcare Graduate Medical Education, which is the largest sponsor of graduate medical education in the US with over 5400 residents, 335 training programs, and 79 teaching hospitals. He has an MD from Stanford and a Masters in Clinical Psychology from Purdue University. He has previously served as program director for two emergency medicine residency programs and as the Designated Institutional Official for a major teaching hospital in Southern California. He holds the title of Clinical Professor of Emergency Medicine at the University of California Riverside. He has 27 years in the Army Medical Corps (reserve) with deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan and currently studies well-being in collaboration with the Psychologists at the HCA Healthcare/Claremont Graduate University Physician Wellness Research Lab. His role is responsible for the well-being of the approximately 5400 residents and 6000+ faculty in HCA Healthcare GME.
