This regularly scheduled series provides clinicians the opportunity to attend a didactic session that discusses and analyzes the latest evidence-based practice initiatives related to the specialty of critical care transport.

Objectives: 

  • Discuss safe strategies for both ground ambulance and rotor wing operations.

  • Define Crew Resource Management (CRM) and review the clinical application to the Critical Care Transport Team environment.

  • Incorporate real-life clinical scenarios that emphasize the importance of compliance with CRM strategies.
