I began working on the inpatient oncology unit at what was Nemours A.I . duPont Hospital for Children in 2017 as a nursing assistant. I obtained my Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from University of Delaware in 2019 and immediately began working as an RN on the same unit. During this time I felt a passion for caring for pediatric patients diagnosed with blood and oncology related diseases. In 2024, I began working as the Adolescent and Young Adult (AYA) nurse coordinator to help build the new AYA program to help this patient population navigate the hurdles they are faced with after receiving a cancer diagnosis.
