Objectives:

As a result of this activity participants will be able to:

1. State what the criteria and treatment is for diabetic ketoacidosis

2. Describe continuous glucose monitors and the benefits they provide for patients

Practice Change: 

RNs will be able to understand the functions on insulin pumps when patients are admitted therefore leading to more positive outcomes for patients with Type 1 Diabetes
