This monthly series, held on the 3rd Monday of each month from 12pm-1pm, features clinical experts in pediatric subspecialty advanced practice roles (either nurse practitioner, CNS, nurse anesthetist or physician assistant). The clinical expert shares their knowledge of their specialty area of practice in order to build the knowledge base of nurses, physician assistants and other interprofessional team members about pediatric health conditions they may encounter infrequently. Using case studies and patient scenarios, presenters offer real-world clinical examples of the health condition(s) being presented, providing current evidence-based practice recommendations for addressing them.
