This regularly scheduled series provides clinicians the opportunity to attend a didactic session that discusses and analyzes the latest evidence-based practice initiatives, and research related to the specialty of Nursing.
Objectives
As a result of this activity, participants will be able to:
- Recognize signs and symptoms of domestic violence in victims.
- Discuss the dynamics of domestic violence.
- Participate in case studies involving the intersection of domestic violence and child abuse.
- Utilize a hospital based approach to domestic violence when working with patients and colleagues.
