Objectives: 

As a result of this activity, the participant will be able to..

Describe the assigned roles of PICU staff/Code Blue team during responses to Obstetrical Emergencies (for example, Team Leader, Recorder, IV/Med Nurse, consultant)

Educational Objective 2: 

Identify Obstetric causes of Maternal Cardiovascular Collapse such as Obstetrical Hemorrhage, Amniotic Fluid Embolism, Local Anesthetic Systemic Toxicity, Hypertensive Disorders of Pregnancy, Septic Shock.

Practice Change: 

When attending a code blue involving a perinatal patient, the team will include disease entities unique to pregnancy in the differential diagnosis
