Dr. Deborah Hammett is originally from West Chester, Pennsylvania. She completed her undergraduate studies at The George Washington University where she received a dual degree in English and Biology. She then earned her Master of Science in Biology at West Chester University of Pennsylvania where she also served as a graduate teaching assistant. Dr. Hammett received her medical degree at The Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her residency training at Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University/ Nemours Children’s Hospital, Delaware where she had the privilege of also serving as a Chief Resident. Dr. Hammett completed her fellowship training in Pediatric Emergency Medicine at Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University/ Nemours Children’s Hospital, Delaware and now works within the division of Emergency Medicine at Nemours Children’s Hospital, Delaware.
