Session Summary:

A patient with an active seizure, presenting in the Emergency Department, requires a swift triage, immediate interventions, and evidence-based pathways and protocols. Join your ED colleagues in an evidenced based, educational session that addresses an active seizure presentation.

Learning Objectives:

At the end of this activity, participants will be able to: 

  • review pathophysiology for seizure presentation
  • apply evidence and best practice for children presenting seizure presentation.
  • apply assessment criteria for relevant for seizure presentation.

Target Audience:

This program is intended for all disciplines of learners who primarily work in the Florida ED: RN, RT, EMT-P, PCT, and APRN.
