Objectives
As a result of this activity, participants will be able to:

  • Summarize current standards of care in medical genetics and genomics and identify actionable opportunities for genetic counselors to enhance patient management in both primary care and specialty pediatric settings.
  • Identify emerging developments in medical genetics relevant to pediatric care and apply strategies in response to these changes to support clinical decision-making, patient counseling, and care of pediatric patients
