Series Summary:
Join us for an educational series designed for operating room nurses and surgical technologists who want to elevate their expertise in trauma care. High-acuity cases demand precision, confidence, and seamless teamwork and this series provides monthly sessions with practical insights to anticipate complications and ensure continuity of care Through evidence-based materials and interactive learning, participants will strengthen their ability to apply standardized trauma protocols, deliver quality care and communicate effectively under pressure for best patient outcomes. Each session focuses on building knowledge, skiliis, and efficiency caring for trauma patients so teams can deliver exceptional care when it matters most.
Learning Objectives:
At the end of this activity, participants will be able to:
- Identify key principles of trauma surgery and perioperative management for high-acuity cases.
- Demonstrate effective communication and role clarity within the surgical team during trauma scenarios.
- Evaluate considerations and complications unique to trauma patients to ensure continuity of care.
Target Audience:
This program is intended for all learners who primarily work in the Florida OR including RNs and SSTs.
