- 1. Familiarize the audience with the AAPD's best practice recommendations on timing of clinical modalities that promote oral health during infancy, childhood, and adolescence
- 2. Understand the AAPD’s recommendations for periodicity of comprehensive oral examination, assessment of caries risk, professional preventive procedures, and radiographic examination
- 3. Understand the AAPD’s age groupings for preventive recommendations
- 4. Discuss how this policy can be included in caregiver education and making evidence-based practice recommendations
