Trainers will discuss the impact of loss, grief, and stress on young children. Information presented will be organized to outline the different effects of loss and presentations of grief in children at different developmental levels across the infant and early childhood period.

Learning Objectives

After participating in this session, attendees should be able to:

  1. Identify the impact of grief and crises on Infants and young children,
  2. Demonstrate effective methods for speaking about losses with young children.
  3. escribe how supportive relationships can support resilience in children who have suffered losses.
