Educational Objectives: As a result of this activity, the participant will be able to

  • Describe causes and factors contributing to migraines and be able to discuss their classification and symptoms.
  • Identify standard migraine medication options and list recent migraine medication options.

Practice Change: As a result of this activity, participants will be able to apply comprehensive treatment plans of headache hygiene and lifestyle changes, in the primary care setting, recommended for patients who complain of headaches or migraines.
