This regularly scheduled series provides clinicians the opportunity to attend a didactic session that discusses and analyzes the latest evidence-based practice initiatives related to the specialty of critical care transport.
Objectives:
Describe Joint Commission standards to reduce likelihood of harm in obstetrical hemorrhage, hypertensive disorders of pregnancy, and precipitous delivery
Learn role-specific, evidence-based organizational procedures to respond to obstetrical hemorrhage and hypertensive disorders of pregnancy
- Review clinical cases related to JC Standard PC 06.01.01: Reduce the likelihood of harm related to maternal hemorrhage
- Review clinical cases related to JC Standard PC 06.01.03: Reduce the likelihood of harm related to maternal severe hypertension/preeclampsia
- Review clinical cases related to JC Standard LD.04.03.08: Health Care Equity
