Objectives

- Recognize the need for a standard response process to behavior escalation events in pediatric outpatient ambulatory settings.
- Create a framework to recognize and respond to these events that promotes associate empowerment and psychosocial safety.
Establishing a Human Trafficking Screening Process to Identify Potential Victims of Human Trafficking in a Pediatric Emergency Department
Objectives
As a result of this activity, participants will be able to:
- Compare the number of identified potential victims of human trafficking before and after screening implementation.
- Explain the importance of human trafficking screening in the emergency pediatric population.
