Amanda completed her Masters in Nursing at the University of Pennsylvania in 2014 and obtained certification as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. Since that time, she has worked as a nurse practitioner in CICU and CT surgery at NYU Langone Medical Center and most recently at NY Presbyterian: Weill Cornell Medical center. Amanda has been involved in developing core educational programs and standards of care for pre and post operative management of patients with congenital heart disease.  Combined with her years of bedside nursing in the PICU at CHOP, Amanda brings over thirteen years of experience in caring for pediatric patients. Originally from Delaware, Amanda is happy to return to her home state and join the Nemours Cardiology team where she works in Preventative Cardiology, identifying and treating children with dyslipidemia, hypertension and obesity.
