Timothy J. McCormick, BSN, RN, C-NPT is a seasoned Clinical Nurse Educator and Critical Care Transport Specialist with more than two decades of experience spanning pediatric, neonatal, and adult critical care. At Nemours Children’s Hospital in Orlando, FL, he leads high-impact simulation-based education, coordinates systemwide competency validation, and supports interprofessional learning initiatives designed to elevate patient safety and clinical performance.

Throughout his distinguished career, Timothy has served in advanced roles within pediatric and neonatal critical care transport, both ground and air operations, developing deep expertise in acute resuscitation, stabilization, and clinical management strategies unique to the critical care transport environment. He is certified in ACLS, PALS, NRP (Instructor), STABLE, TNCC, ENPC, and has completed the Air Medical Crew Course, underscoring his commitment to excellence in emergency and transport medicine. He also holds a specialty practice certification in Neonatal Pediatric Transport.
