Brenda Marin-Rivera, LCSW, is the Director of Patient and Family Services at Nemours Children’s Hospital, where she leads a multidisciplinary team dedicated to supporting the emotional, psychological, and social needs of children and families. With more than two decades of experience as a clinical social worker and leader, Brenda has extensive expertise in providing mental health services, managing Baker Acts, and supporting hospital throughput through effective coordination and intervention. She has played a key role in advancing initiatives aligned with Joint Commission standards for suicide prevention and risk reduction. Brenda is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Clinical Supervisor with bachelor’s and master’s degrees in social work from the University of Puerto Rico.
