Dr. Sarandria is a graduate of both Florida State University and Ross University and completed his pediatric residency at University of Florida in Jacksonville. He is currently a Pediatric Hospitalist at Nemours Children’s Hospital with a focus on quality improvement, patient safety, and education. He serves as the medical director of pediatrics at GenCare Resources, as an executive board member at the Amato Foundation, as editor for the Florida Cleft Palate Association, and as a key team member of the Nemours Craniofacial team. In 2024 he will begin serving as medical director of the Snyder Cleft and Craniofacial Center in Jacksonville, Florida. He is an associate professor at UCF College of Medicine and advances academics through work on clinical guidelines, quality initiatives, student/resident presentations, and mentorship.
