Dong (Dan) Han, PsyD, CELM, FANA, FRSM, FRSPH

Dr. Dan Han is a Professor of Neurology, Neurosurgery, and Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine. He serves as the Director of the Neuropsychology Division at UK HealthCare. Dr. Han is a James B. Beam Institute Fellow, a Fellow of the American Neurological Association, the National Academy of Neuropsychology, the Royal Society for Public Health, and the Royal Society of Medicine. He has previously served as the president of the International Society of Neurogastronomy and the Lexington Board of Brain Injury Alliance. Currently, Dr. Han chairs the Medical & Scientific Advisory Board for the Association of the U.S. Army – McMillan Chapter and sits on the governor-appointed Board of Directors of the Kentucky Traumatic Brain Injury Trust. Clinically, he oversees the UK HealthCare neurocognitive diagnostic services, providing consults for 24 hospital service lines and 63 regional hospitals and clinical practices. His work has been sponsored by the National Institutes of Health, Department of Defense, Department of Education, foundation grants, industry clinical trials, and national think tanks, focusing on brain–behavior relationships, behavioral economics, and program development. Dr. Han’s work has been featured in Newsweek, National Geographic, The Atlantic, The Wall Street Journal, the APA’s Monitor on Psychology, CNN with Dr. Sanjay Gupta, NPR, BBC (Great Britain), ABC (Australia), CBC (Canada), NBC, Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and many others. His work has received globally syndicated coverage, spanning 17 countries in 12 languages.
