Lalit Bajaj MD, MPH is currently a Professor of Pediatrics and Emergency Medicine at the University of Colorado School of Medicine, and the Chief Quality Officer for Children’s Hospital Colorado. Dr. Bajaj has served in many leadership roles at Children’s Hospital Colorado including Emergency Department Research Director, Medical Director of the Research Institute, Medical Director of Clinical Effectiveness, and is currently the Chief Quality Officer for the Children’s Hospital Colorado system. In his current role, he oversees patient safety, clinical effectiveness, health equity, and value-based care. He has focused much of his scholarly work on decreasing low value care, examining disparities in outcomes and working to further value-based care and optimal outcomes for all patients and families.
