Professor Gordon has practiced as a general and neurodevelopmental paediatrician for almost 25 years in the UK. He runs the Lancashire coast neurodevelopmental services in the UK. He is an active academic and professor of evidence synthesis and systematic review at the unIversity of lancashire in the UK. He is a cochrane editor and deputy editor of BMJ Paediatrics open. He has acheived over £1 million of research funding in the last decade and published 150 peer reviewed papers, with an h-index of 43. He has co-chaired and acted as methods lead on 4 major national and international guidelines over the last 3 years and is the director of the BEST research institute in the university of lancashire. He has lectured and taught on topics related to evidence based medicine in practice and guideline development globally and is committed to enhancing practice through true evidence based integration in clinical care.
