Joanne Murren-Boezem, MD. MPH

Dr. Murren-Boezem has a passion for quality pediatric care and innovation.  The marriage of healthcare and technology was a perfect opportunity to practice and help set new standards for both. She currently serves as Medical Director for Nemours Telemedicine Urgent Care. Her experience as Chief of Pediatrics, Winn Army Community Hospital, hospitalist at All Children’s Hospital, and primary care pediatrician and practice owner of Paradise Pediatrics has afforded her the skill set to help lead telemedicine with quality oversight, collaboration, and research, while meeting our most precious patients wherever they are.  Dr. Murren-Boezem received her MD-MPH degrees from Boston University School of Medicine and Public Health and completed her pediatric residency at Walter Reed Army Medical Center. She is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at University of Central Florida (UCF), College of Medicine. She has co-authored several research articles related to pediatric telemedicine.
