Dr. Sherry Chesak is the inaugural Director of the Center for Flourishing Health Care Communities at the University of Minnesota, where she also serves as a Clinical Professor in the School of Nursing. She conducts her research as a Nurse Scientist within the Division of Nursing Research at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. A distinguished nurse leader, Dr. Chesak directs a program of research dedicated to fostering a flourishing healthcare ecosystem by addressing clinician stress and burnout, and developing interventions that are supportive at the individual, team and system levels. She is also certified as a mindfulness meditation teacher and a Resilience Trainer through the Global Resilience and Inner Transformation Institute.
