For the past three years, I have been part of The Finley Project, an organization dedicated to supporting mothers who have experienced pregnancy and infant loss. My journey with this group began after the heartbreaking loss of my son, Dwayne Alvaro Frazier, on August 3rd, 2021, due to a placental abruption. That day forever changed my life, leaving an unfillable void in my heart. While this journey has been profoundly challenging, it has also brought moments of healing and purpose. Sharing my story and my son’s legacy is a way for me to honor his memory, bring awareness to the devastating reality of pregnancy and infant loss, and break the stigma surrounding this topic.
