Allison Bechtel, D.O.

Undergraduate education was completed at Queen's University in Kingston, Canada and then moved to the United States to complete medical education at Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine with post-training completed in Jacksonville for both Pediatrics residency and hematology oncology. Joined the faculty in July 2018 and clinical time is spent primarily treating leukemia, lymphoma and histiocytic disorders. Acts as the director of the Oncology Survivorship program, the fertility preservation program in Jacksonville and acts as the liaison for residents within out department. I have a personal interest in impact of nutrition, psychology and social stressors and how it impacts patients treatment in the short and long term. In spare time I enjoy getting outside with my daughter, husband and animals and cooking a good meal.
