Since joining Nemours in 2016, Paris Owens has held pivotal operational leadership roles, overseeing departments such as surgery, anesthesia, and the overall operational strategy for Northeast Florida. In his current capacity, he is responsible for managing all day-to-day operations across North Florida, including both the Northeast and Northwest regions.
A results-driven leader, Paris has consistently demonstrated operational excellence through effective collaboration with his team and partners. His leadership capabilities were further highlighted during his tenure as Interim President for the Jacksonville market, where he advanced key initiatives and strategies. With over 19 years of experience in healthcare operations, Paris possesses a profound understanding of managing complex systems, with a particular emphasis on ambulatory care. As a dedicated mentor, he is committed to fostering team success and implementing strategies that enhance quality, efficiency, and effectiveness.
Paris holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Alcorn State University and a Master of Business Administration from Troy University.
Passionate about community service, Paris serves on the First Coast Advisory Board for Blessings in a Backpack, the Jacksonville Sports Medicine Program board, and is an active member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. He is based in Jacksonville, Florida.
